COREangels Day is the biggest gathering of the COREangels Global Community happening every year in November, in Lisbon, Portugal during the Web Summit week. Every year more than 100 COREangels Members participate in this networking event.
Rui Falcão is the CEO of COREangels and was named Angel of the Year 2023 by Investors Portugal. Former fund leader of COREangels Lisbon, Porto, and Food, he has invested in more than 40 startups across Europe and Latin America. With a PhD on the value of angel investing, Rui combines academic insight and hands-on leadership to drive COREangels’ global vision.
Urs Rothmayr is leader of COREangels Barcelona. He was the director of the Founder Institute in Barcelona. He is a recognized expert in startups, Entrepreneur, Investor in Startups with experience in Innovation Consulting and Corporate Entrepreneurship.
Maurizio Calcopietro is angel leader at COREangels Atlantic. He is an angel investor and IT management executive with extensive international experience. He strongly believes in the synergy of innovation ecosystems and startups between Brazil and Portugal.
Isabel Faria is an experienced executive in the food and agri sector in Europe for 20+ years. She is an angel investor at COREangels Lisbon and mentor at EIT Food. Isabel is participating in the Angel Fund Launchpad program, launching a COREangels fund in Europe aiming to support Food startups.
Ela is the global community manager at COREangels. With a background in sales, marketing, engineering, communications, and creative writing, Ela fosters collaboration, curate engaging content, and facilitate valuable connections among entrepreneurs, angel investors and fund leaders at COREangels.
Juan is a partner and angel investor at COREangels Barcelona, specializing in startup assessment, selection, and early-stage investments. He is currently launching COREangels Sportstech fund.
Cíntia Mano is a Partner at COREangels and an angel investor at COREangels Atlantic. Former CEO of COREangels, she played a pivotal role in scaling the network globally and building communities of purpose-driven investors. Today, she brings her experience to support founders and foster collaboration across the ecosystem.
Thiago Vieira is an investor at COREangels Atlantic and COREangels Porto, as well as a lawyer, entrepreneur, and cybersecurity expert. He began his career as a software developer before specializing in digital law, cybercrime, and intellectual property, earning a PhD in Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence from Universidade Lusófona in Porto.
