COREangels today announced an important leadership transition. After guiding the organization through a transformative growth phase, Cintia Mano has decided to step down from her role as CEO. She will be succeeded by Rui Falcão, who currently serves as President of the Board.
This planned transition ensures continued stability and momentum for COREangels’ mission of building a collaborative global angel investment community. To fully dedicate himself to his new role, Rui will step down from his leadership positions at COREangels Lisbon, Porto, and Food. With extensive hands-on experience leading angel groups and shaping COREangels’ governance, Rui is well-positioned to take the organization into its next chapter.
Cintia Mano reflected:
"It has been an honor to serve as CEO during such a transformative phase for COREangels. Together, we expanded our global investor network, strengthened internal systems, and built a foundation for long-term scalability. I’m deeply grateful for the trust and collaboration I’ve experienced with many of you. I leave this role confident in Rui’s leadership and the Board’s continued commitment to our vision."
Rui Falcão, Incoming CEO, stated:
"I want to thank Cintia for her exceptional leadership and the legacy she leaves behind. Over the past weeks, we have worked closely to ensure a smooth transition. I am committed to maintaining the strong trajectory COREangels is on and to continuing the mission to create value for entrepreneurship and angel investing."
COREangels also extends gratitude to all shareholders, business angels, fund leaders, and the entire COREangels community for their support throughout this transition.
